"Five O'Clock World" • Vocal Confluence

As part of our show Sounds of Steel: An A Cappella Tribute to Pittsburgh Artists, Vocal Confluence performs “Five O’Clock World” by The Vogues—proudly hailing from just outside Pittsburgh in Turtle Creek, PA—in a brand-new barbershop a cappella arrangement by chorus member Alex Burval. With its driving rhythm and relatable lyrics, this 60s pop hit gets a fresh twist through four-part barbershop harmony. We’re celebrating the sounds that made Pittsburgh sing—and the voices that keep the Steel City’s musical spirit alive today.
