Fridays at the Frick
Vocal Confluence, Pittsburgh’s All-Voice Barbershop Chorus, will be performing at The Frick Pittsburgh “Summer Fridays at the Frick” on June 14, 2024. Enjoy a cappella, primarily in the barbershop style, from the full chorus and small groups, including our chapter quartets. You won’t want to miss this outdoor performance! More info found here.
Vocal Confluence Presents: “I Wanna See You Be Brave”
Vocal Confluence’s summer show will take place on June 15th and 16th, 2024, with special guests, GQ!
Since this show is going to have increased demand, we have adopted a different ticketing model than we have in the past! If you want to guarantee yourself a seat, please purchase your tickets ahead of time! Those with tickets will be given priority seating. Adult tickets are $20, children and students are $10.
Any leftover seats will be available as a “Pay What You Can” option at the door on the day of the show only. We still want to provide an affordable option for those who may not be able to pay for tickets to our show, so we thought it was important to still offer our usual donation-only option.

2024 BHS International Convention
Vocal Confluence officially qualified to compete in the 2024 BHS International Convention chorus contest. VC is the first Pittsburgh-area chorus to qualify for the international contest, as well as the first all-voice ensemble in the Johnny Appleseed District to qualify. We cannot wait to make our international debut in July!
We will be performing 10th in the chorus contest on Friday, July 5th, 2024!
To sing with us at International, one must meet our rehearsal attendance policy. While many choruses in the BHS allow singers to join for singular events, we want our members to be fully involved in our chorus family. If you are interested in singing with us for the international convention but have questions regarding our policies, complete the guest intake form and we will address any and all questions from there!
Small Group Showcase: A Pittsburgh Metro Chapter Fundraising Event
Vocal Confluence presents its first-ever cabaret-style fundraising show featuring its small groups. Enjoy duets, quartets, octets, and more in various styles of a cappella. We are thrilled to have this performance at The Original Pittsburgh Winery. Doors open at 3 PM with light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar; show begins at 4 PM. Tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door. More info to come!
Johnny Appleseed District / Cardinal District Joint Spring Convention
Join us as we compete for the JAD district title, and hear quartets sing to qualify for the 2024 International Convention!

Edgewood Light Up Night
Join us at Edgewood’s Light Up Night! The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm at Memorial Park, followed by a walking tour of Maple Avenue, a visit from Santa himself, and plenty of hot cocoa and apple cider!

Vocal Confluence also has talented members who will be performing songs in small groups throughout the performance, including their currently active chapter quartet, Revenge of the Fifth.
We are thrilled to announce that VC is bringing in Gimme Four, the 7th place 2022 Barbershop Harmony Society International Contest Finalist quartet. This will be their last performance before they take the stage in the BHS 2023 International Contest, so you are sure to hear some great music from them!
We follow a donations-only model, so there are no tickets available for purchase ahead of time; seats are first come, first served. You are welcome to donate in-person or online at www.vocalconfluence.org/sponsor. We thank you for your generous support!
Doors open at 2:30 pm. There will be parking available in the School for the Deaf lot, as well as street parking. Those who need handicapped accessible parking may park in the lot directly next to the church.
Please note - Google Maps and Apple Maps are not updated to show the new parking lot connected to the school, so please follow the signs once you get there!
